I am an allergy sufferer, and in the last few days it's been kicking my butt.  You may know the feeling.  Itchy eyes, scratchy throat, runny nose, etc.  Well it turns out there is a reason for this, the pollen level is up.

This last weekend was the best weather we've experienced in a long time.  We finally spent some time outdoors at the lake.  We cleaned up the yard at home, and even did some fishing.  However, by Monday a few of us were feeling the effects of some terrible seasonal allergies.

Pollen counts in the Twin Ports reached 7.5 / 10 on the scale on Sunday and Monday this week.  This is classified as medium-high pollen amounts.  At work today, many people were having problems with their allergies and everyone shared stories about seeing pollen floating around in the air over the weekend.

Clean water is something many of us take for granted, but a troubling new study suggests that pesticides in tap water may be responsible for a recent increase in food allergies.

My family always had a real tree.  We use to go out on a friend's land in Holyoke and cut a fresh one down.  Ah, family memories.  According to Mail Online, experts are saying real trees could be the reason for sickness in your household.
