Superior’s First Ever ‘North End Days’ Celebration Kicks Off Today
Superior has had it's different neighborhoods celebrate their areas at different times during the year. The East End Days just finished up in September, there's of course the Billings Park days that happen each year along with the South Superior Days. Well now the North End Community has their own weekend as well with 'North End Days.'
It starts today with art and live music being played at several different businesses in the North End such as Going Postal, VIP, Art On the Planet, Framing By Stengl, Thirsty Pagan, and The Spirit Room.
Then a family friendly drive in movie takes place at World of Wheels Parking lot at 7pm.
On Saturday the Spooktacular Parade starts the day at 2pm with the parade on Broadway Street. It Goes from Ogden to Hammond Ave. From 2:30-5pm there's a pumpkin patch activities with games, pumpkin giveaways and more. A tug of war takes place at 3:15 and then at 4 is the kids costume contest.
Then to wrap up the event there is the Monster Mash Street Dance from 6-11pm on the Corner of Broadway and Ogden.
