Superior’s Christmas Bird Count is December 30

On December 30, the City of Superior will host their Christmas Bird Count and the best part is that you can participate without even leaving your backyard.

On that day, residents are asked to make a list of the birds they see in their backyard and email that to the local compiler.

In Superior, you are to email your list to Nancy Raffetto at the following address: raffetto@wisc.edu

The information gathered goes into an international database, which is a great way to track bird numbers in order to determine the general health of the species and its habitat.
