An annual event geared towards kids, Christmas, and gift-giving is coming up. The Friends of the Library's Merry Little Christmas Book Sale will happen this year on Friday and Saturday, December 3 and December 4 at the Superior Public Library.

The event is perfect for families who have little ones.  The annual sale offers like-new books for sale at a great price.  You'll find a wide selection of bestsellers, children's books, cookbooks, non-fiction, and much more.  The items are perfect for gift giving or to keep for your own family.

Here are the details and times for each of the days of the Merry Little Christmas Book Sale:

  • Friday, December 3:  10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Saturday, December 4:  10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

All proceeds from the sale benefit the Friends of the Library. The mission of that organization is enrichment of the services provided at the Superior Public Library.  The funds raised during the two annual book sales that they hold each year are passed back to the library in a variety of means.  Each year thousands of dollars get donated to the Superior Public Library to enhance the library's collections, equipment, and services.  They also fund the online resource - Book News - and assist with planning for programs and special events.
