Superior Mayor Initiates Program to Help Small Local Businesses
Superior Mayor Jim Paine says it time to provide incentives for small, local businesses with the same vigor usually reserved for big corporations and he wants to start now.
Mayor Paine made the announcement on his Facebook page:
This new program will support local businesses with as much as $50,000 each starting this year. Special thanks to Councilor Keith Kern for his help developing the specs for the program and our Planning Department for organizing the details.
With City Council approval we could have this program up and running in just a few weeks. So if you’ve been sitting on that plan, idea, initiative, vision, or dream for too long, give us a call. We want to help make it come true.
Assuming the Superior city council votes to let this program move forward, it appears to be a perfect time for local entrepreneurs to get their visions off the ground in Superior.
