After 50 years in the music business, the Steve Miller Band is bringing his bay area music to our bay area.

Steve Miller started in San Francisco doing music that was taking over the nation in the folk revolution, but he is best known for his brand of 70s pop. Songs like "Jet Airliner", "Take The Money And Run", and "Fly Like An Eagle". Who can finish these lyrics, "I'm a joker, a smoker, and a midnight............". Right, everyone can.

The Steve Miller Band is coming July 14 to Bayfront Festival Park and bringing country superstar Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives band. Marty has also been in the music business for a long time. He dropped out of school at the age of 13 to play with Country/Bluegrass Legend Lester Flatts, he has also been in Johnny Cash's back up band. Stuart had his best years with a string of hits in the 90s. He is also married to Country Singer Connie Smith.

Tickets go on sale February 20th. at 10 am.
