If there is one thing for certain it's change.  And as much as health care has evolved over the last century (even the last five years!)  - it's a fluid industry.  In order to get ahead of those changes and to better plan for them, St. Louis County Human Resources has scheduled a panel discussion - featuring noted representatives from area hospitals as well as the insurance and pharmaceutical industries.

The event - called "Reinventing Health Care" is on the schedule for Friday, October 18 - from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at Hoops Brewery, 325 South Lake Avenue in Duluth.  Members of the general public are invited and encouraged to attend.

Organizers have scheduled a robust panel discussion.  Featured will be Dr. Craig Samitt, President and CEO of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota.  In addition, the following health care representatives will be on hand: Dr. Stephen Schondelmeyer - a professor of Pharmaceutical Economics in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Minnesota; Dr. Michael Van Scoy, Essentia Health; and Joe Drexler, Director of Population Health and Strategy at St. Luke's.
