Spring Cleaning? City Of Superior Announces Spring Brush + Clean-Up Schedule

Superior residents should pay extra attention this year for the spring clean up schedule. That's because for the first time in many years, there are no free landfill days. So if you want to get rid of that unwanted junk in your home for free, make sure you have it ready for pickup.

The annual spring clean-up starts on April 28th and is scheduled to be completed by May 23rd. The spring clean-up is for pickup of household trash that can't be disposed of in the garbage containers.

Things that are not accepted and won't be picked up:

Mattresses and box springs won't be picked up. They can still be disposed of for a fee at the landfill. No building or construction materials will be accepted. Recycleabls including cardboard are not accepted. No hazardous liquids, asbestos, TVs, appliances, or computers are allowed. Also no fluorescent bulbs, motor oil, or car batteries will be accepted.

All items must be placed by your garbage can by 7:00 AM on the first day of the week for your area.

City Of Superior Brush Clean-up Schedule

The brush is to be placed on the street or boulevard of your property - not in the alley. The brush piles should be no bigger than 4 feet tall, 15 feet long, and 6 feet deep. For reference, the pile shouldn't be bigger than a police squad car.
