A Southern MN couple is in some trouble after an anonymous tip lead authorities to discover they were a little over their possession limit. And by a little, we mean an entire school of fish.

According to the Star Tribune, the tip came in after an anonymous caller reported a group catching over 100 crappies on Lake Sisseton in Fairmont, MN.  The MN DNR was able to trace vehicle information back to the apartment of 70 year old Isouvahn Xayachack of Mountain Lake and his 60 year old wife Chanhthone Phongsim.

The officers said they initially denied catching more than their limit, but with the suspects permission they opened a chest freezer and found all of the frozen crappies. They were cooperative, but will still face charges and fines that may add up to $3,000 if found guilty.
