Two fires broke out at the same time in a small town in Northern Wisconsin. Volunteer firefighters were faced with a challenge not typically seen in the community. A business and a residence both caught on fire at separate locations.

Solon Springs Suffers Two Fires Tuesday Night

Black smoke began pouring out of the back of Hog Wild BBQ in Solon Springs, Wisconsin, on Tuesday night around 8:50 PM. The town's volunteer fire department sprang into action and responded to the fire. About an hour later, another fire was called in at a residence in town.

The resident called 911 after she noticed electronics in her home were on fire. She was in bed when the fire alarm went off.

Five local volunteer fire departments responded.

Nearby Gordon Fire Department and Bennett Fire Department were called in to help battle the next fire. Wascott Volunteer Fire Department also assisted, along with members from the Hawthorne Volunteer Fire Department.
