The adventures of Harry Potter has been enjoyed for years and by all ages.  After a bit of a hiatus, Harry Potter made a huge comeback when the book "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" was released.  Now there's anticipation with the upcoming film release and the Duluth Public Library is getting in on the frenzy with a free event.

For parents looking for something to keep the kids busy during the first weekend of deer hunting, you'll love this.  Honestly, I'm totally in the dark when it comes to Harry Potter, my daughter was always into Lemony Snicket and the Series of Unfortunate Events.  This Saturday, November 5 anywhere from 11a-1p head to the Duluth Public Library for fun Harry Potter themed festivities.  There's a costume contest at 12:30, trivia, prizes, a hidden golden snitch and Butterbeer and Honeydukes treats (while supplies last).

If the morning is packed for you, consider arriving by 1p so you can watch the movie Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, absolutely free!  We have Laura from the Library in every Tuesday at 8:10 to tell us about the next upcoming Duluth Public Library event and this week she said ALL the programs that are offered through the library are free.  Keep that in mind when you are making plans for the family.
