Another Minnesota concert has been pushed to the new year: Bayfront Country Jam will not happen this summer as planned.

Event organizers shared the news on their Facebook page, citing COVID-19 as the reason behind the decision. The good news is that the show has been postponed to 2021 and not cancelled.

The new date for Bayfront Country Jam will be Friday, July 2nd of 2021. According to a press release from event organizers, next year's show will have a new docket, stating there will be a "greater lineup" than the one planned for this year. We will keep you updated when that lineup is announced.

Tickets for the show will not be refunded. However, if you already purchased tickets, they will be honored for the new date. Ticket prices are expected to be higher next year.

This was set to be the second year for Bayfront Country Jam, having originated in 2019. This year's lineup was announced in December of last year and included Eric Paslay, Thompson Square and headliner Easton Corbin.

The year prior, Chris Janson headlined the first ever Bayfront Country Jam. Whiskey Trail, Chase Bryant and Joe Nichols served as openings and it was an amazing show! Prior to coming to the Northland for the show, Chris called in to The Breakfast Club to talk about his journey in the music business, his music and being known for his live concerts.

Bayfront Country Jam is one of several concerts that have been postponed in the Northland and beyond amid the COVID-19 pandemic. To keep up with all of it, check out our concert calendar here.
