I like to grill and cook, though my girlfriend is a phenomenal chef and loves to cook, so since she moved in I haven't been doing as much in that department.  One of the things we have often is Salmon, and I for the most part leave the cooking of that to her as I am not the most confident cooking fish.

If you are like me and want to learn to cook fish better, there is help available and it's free.  Maybe you are already great at cooking fish and want to see if you can pick up some new helpful tips.  Of course there is YouTube, but The Sea Grant Great Lakes Aquaculture Day offers not only cooking tips but also gives interested people the opportunity to learn more about fish farming.  You can do all of this from the comfort of your own home too, as the event is virtual, like many things these days.

It's on Saturday, October 10th, and there are activities all day starting at 8:30AM and ending at 4:30PM.  There will be various panel discussions and presentations on aquaculture and there will be a cooking challenge demonstration.  If you want more information on the agenda you can find it HERE.  Also, while the event is totally free to participate in, all day, or just part of it, you will need to register.  That can also be done on the agenda link above.
