It's the video that has gone viral this week. You truly have to see it to believe it.

A toddler fell out of a moving vehicle while strapped into their car seat. This happened Monday in Mankato, Minnesota. Dashcam video caught the entire thing.

According to reports, the driver behind the vehicle, who also happened to capture the scary moment on video, quickly rushed to save the child. The video shows him sprinting over to the child and stopping oncoming traffic to make the save.

WCCO says the child in the video is 2-years-old. The same report also says the child was fastened safely into the car seat but the problem was that it wasn't attached to the car correctly.

ABC News also covered the story, reporting that the child was properly checked out after the incident but even so, "officials are requesting charges of child endangerment and child restraint system not fastened" against the mother.

There is no doubt the hero of the story here is the man who stopped and saved the child. His name is Chad Mock and he first posted the video to his Facebook page. Along with the scary footage, he says he wouldn't have believed it if he hadn't seen it with his own eyes. He also says the child was okay, the parents came back and the whole situation ended "very lucky."
