This information comes from the Grandma's Marathon website. Frequently asked questions for runners in the half marathon and full marathon about picking up your race packets, the when why where how and how many.

When and where do I pick up my race packet?
Race packet pick-up for Grandma's Marathon and the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon is in Paulucci Hall at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) on Thursday, June 14 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Friday, June 15 from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. There is no race packet pick-up on race morning.

Race packet pick-up for the William A. Irvin 5K is held at the tent near the William A. Irvin ore boat at the DECC on Friday, June 15 from Noon to 5:45 p.m.

I lost my confirmation card. What do I do?
Confirmation cards will only be mailed once. If you have lost your confirmation card, bring a photo ID with you to race packet pick-up and present it to a race official at the “Race Packet Problem” table in the race packet pick-up area (Paulucci Hall at the DECC). A new confirmation card will be issued to you, and you’ll be on your way!

I am not able to make it to Race Packet Pick-Up. What are my options?
You may have another person (family member or friend) pick up your race packet for you. The person picking up your race packet will need all three of the following:

  • A letter of authorization from you (example: I, Jane Doe, authorize John Smith to pick up my race packet)
  • Your confirmation card
  • His or her photo ID.

He or she will need to present these materials to a race official at the “Race Packet Problem” table in the race packet pick-up area (Paulucci Hall at the DECC) and will be required to complete a release form before your race packet is given to them.
