If your New Year's resolutions involve getting more exercise, or if you simply want to have some fun getting exercise this year, Grandma's Marathon has 3 popular races in the Duluth area that are a perfect match and now is the time to sign up.

Grandma's Marathon announced this week that registration is open for the first three Young Athletes Foundation (YAF) running events for 2025.  These raise money for the YAF, a charitable organization that aims to support and promote healthy, active lifestyles for youth in northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin.

If you'd like to participate, it would be best to sign up right away. Participation in each of these events increased in 2024, a trend that is likely to continue this year.

Young Athletes Foundation Races Now Open For Registration

The YAF will again use a tiered entry fee structure for all its paid events, offering lower prices to participants who sign up early. Youth pricing will again extend to ages 18 & under, with those entry fees remaining flat throughout the registration cycle.

Here are the races now open for registration, along with the tiered entry fee structure:

Net proceeds from the three events directly benefit the Young Athletes Foundation. Marketing & Public Relations Director Zach Schneider says, “Just by participating, people in our community are helping to support the mission of the YAF.
