Recreational Skating At Duluth Heritage Center Is Now Open To The Public
The Duluth Parks and Recreation Department along with the Duluth Heritage Center have reopened the recreational skate program for all ages. The public skating sessions are held a few days a week at a cost of $3 and the sessions are 45 minutes long.
Due to COVID-19 Precautions walk ups are not allowed at this time, you must make a reservation and these need to be done 3 days before the date you want to skate. Their will also be a limit of 25 people per session.
Temperature checks, and health screenings will be done before each session. All skaters are asked to arrive 10 minutes before their designated skate session to allow for health screenings and also ask that waivers are filled out when you arrive to allow quicker access into the building. Participants will have 10 minutes before and after each session to take skates on and off.
If you need to use skates at the Heritage Center skate check out is available all skates are sanitized and sit out for 72 hours before the next person uses the skates. The public skate Session Times are :
- Sunday: 3:00-3:45 and 4:15-5:00pm
- Tuesday: 9:30-10:15am
- Wednesday: 2:00-2:45 and 6:45-7:30pm
