The time has come to take the plunge into Lake Superior for a good cause, to help raise money for the Special Olympics of Minnesota! The date of the plunge this year is Saturday February 19 at 2pm om Park Point. Plus, the 5K Race is back as well! The pandemic has affected the programs drastically for Special Olympics athletes and now more than ever these funds raised from the plunge will help some of these athletes get back to the sports they love.

This year besides the actual plunge out at Park Point they will have a "Party Station" back at the Old Grandmas Sports Garden so you can enjoy some food and beverages with friends and family before and after the plunge just like in years passed. Plus, they will also have a fleet of school buses at Grandmas ready to take plungers out to Park Point and bring them back to Grandmas in Canal Park.
