Play Games And Raise Money With Extra Life

The Extra Life organization unites gamers from all over the world to raise money by playing games in support of local Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.  It started in 2008 and has raised over $50 million to help sick and injured kids.

Gamers in the Twin Ports can join the cause on Saturday, October 5th, from 11:00AM-Midnight.  The fundraiser will benefit Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare and Minnesota's Children's Miracle Network.

This all day event is family friendly and all ages, there will be beverages and board games, and prizes throughout the day too.  The suggested donation taken at the door is $5 for individuals and $10 for families, so it's an inexpensive way to have some fun with the family and help out others too.  It's being held at the Suites Hotel, located at 325 South Lake Avenue, in Duluth, MN.  You can get more information about this event, other events including the November 2nd official Game Day here.
