Off the Air With Jeremy: Meet My Team
Aren't they handsome? These three guys are very helpful and a huge part of the success of Taste Of Country Nights. To the left is our producer, Todd; in the middle is engineer Chris; and on the right is our newest member Jon, our screener.
I have known Todd for 15 years, Chris for 12 years and Jon for a few now. I will only hire and work with people I know and trust 100%. When I created the Jeremy Show a few years back I made this my motto, and it has served me well ever since.
One thing people don't know about this show is that it's not just the five hours you hear on the air. It's around the clock. If I have an idea at 3AM, I'm calling Todd and we are working on putting it together. We also have tons of emails to respond to, problems to solve, phone meetings/live interviews to conduct during the day -- and then at 7PM we are live and nationwide.
Chris has built our new studio from the ground up, and has been away from his family many nights to make sure our studio is exactly how it needs to be so the show is right for you, the listener. Jon runs around like crazy! He helps screen calls, makes sure things are running smoothly for our affiliates and makes sure audio is put into our system. Fifteen-hour days are the norm, but we love what we do, and we hope you enjoy the show each and every night.
Have anything in the studio you want to see more of, or up close? Let me know in the comments section and I'll post some more!
Also, just wanted to give you a friendly reminder that Carrie Underwood will be joining us Friday night on Taste of Country Nights! (For a list of stations you can hear us on, click here and look on the right sidebar where it says "Hear Us On"). I'm excited, and she will be bringing the Impossible Question, too! Don't miss it!
See you back here tomorrow at 5PM for another blog entry! I enjoy catching up with you every day here on our page.
