You can't stop progress!  Work crews with the Minnesota Department of Transportation are gearing up for the Twin Ports Interchange/Can-of-Worms intersection replacement - which is scheduled to begin the summer of 2020 and be complete in 2023.  In advance of that project, MNDOT is spending this summer doing preliminary work at the site - testing, surveying, etc.

It's that advance work that will close the northbound I-35 ramp to Highway 53/21st Avenue west on Tuesday, July 16.  The daytime closure will happen form 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM to allow MNDOT workers the chance to perform drilling work. MNDOT anticipates that the drilling work will wrap up by the end of the day.
