Valentine's Day is almost upon us and in the current COVID-19 climate, that might mean a change of plans for many.  Yes, plenty of restaurants are open but many have limited capacity, so getting a table might be tough.  There also is less to do in the ways of live entertainment than there would normally be.

For me and my queen, we are opting to stay in and sear some steaks in a cast iron pan, which I will argue I cook better than most restaurants.  If you are staying in like us, maybe you are looking for something else to do.  You can always rent a movie, or, you could check out a free Valentine's Day concert.

The Duluth Playhouse now runs the NorShor Theater and starting Friday, February 12th, will be running a virtual concert event called " From Broadway with Love".  It starts at 7:00PM and will run through Sunday, February 14th, giving you plenty of opportunity through the weekend to catch it.

They promise it will be all lovey-dovey, and will have plenty of familiar music to enjoy.  The best part is that it's totally free.  You'll be able to stream it on their YouTube page HERE.  You can also check it out on the same schedule with Facebook Live HERE.  This sounds like a good option for a Valentine's weekend, especially since the temps will be low in the Twin Ports.
