NFL Announces that Adrian Peterson Will Be Reinstated Effective Friday

The NFL has announced that Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has been reinstated effective Friday and he may participate in team activities.  Of course, the question is if he will actually rejoin the team or hold out.

The Vikings released this official statement:

"The Minnesota Vikings have been informed by the NFL that Adrian Peterson has been reinstated. We look forward to Adrian re-joining the Vikings."

The Vikings are not currently showing any signs of granting Adrian a trade, which could be a way to drive up his trade value, but I believe they really hope a page can be turned and Adrian will honor his contract this season.
