There's another dispensary opening up in Ironwood, Michigan. How many does that make now in the small town on the border of Wisconsin?

Ironwood has seen the cash roll in, and the dispensaries are along the main drag on Highway 2. There first was Higher Love, then along came Rize. More recently High Profile opened their doors. I don't know when The Firestation Cannabis Company showed up. I missed that one. This time I heard about a new dispensary from my mailbox. That makes five dispensaries in the town of less than 5,000 people.

A flyer showed up in my mailbox, (and some other people I know), talking about the newest dispensary opening up in Ironwood, Michigan. It was advertising their Grand Opening that takes place August 24-25. It's called Levels Cannabis Supercenter. Wow! Sounds like a weed Walmart!

They really get your attention with the flyer, showing the prize giveaways, drawings, and even saying they price match. In big bold letter, it says 21+ Out Of State Welcome.

This might be the most aggressive marketing yet, but it seems pretty effective. While Cannabis is legal in Michigan and Minnesota, it isn't legal at all in Wisconsin. (It's not even legal for medical purposes; can you believe that?)

A lot of the residents of Wisconsin cross the border to Michigan and Illinois to purchase their cannabis products. That's what's made Ironwood the closest place to Northern Wisconsin and Minnesota. Recently, High Profile offered to give you gas money if you showed your Minnesota license.

I flipped over the flyer and chuckled. It reminded me of a Subway coupon book for weed. It certainly grabs your attention.
