Famous Comedian Breaks All-Time Record At The DECC

In December, it was announced that the famous comedian would be bringing his comedy show to our neck of the woods.

The big day is finally here, and the show is going to be amazing. It is also going to be busy, with event organizers urging fans attending the show to make plans ahead of time.

With nearly 8,000 attendees, only a fraction of people going to the show can park onsite. Staff issued some tips ahead of the show, encouraging people to eat dinner and walk over to the venue and to plan ahead.

The comedian is known for his squeaky-clean sense of humor, which has catapulted him to nationwide fame over the past few years. He's even been called the nicest guy in comedy, and is just getting started.

He has a podcast, multiple specials on Netflix, a book and even his first role in a movie, expected in 2026. He's even playing two sold-out shows in St. Paul later this year. He's officially big time.

With all of this being said, it loos like he is adding another major accomplishments to his belt: his May 8th show at AMSOIL Arena is officially the biggest show ever held at the venue!

I reached out to the DECC to see what the top five best-selling shows have been in the history of the convention center. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised. The show has sold 7,795 tickets.

I am going to the show and am excited to see it! I am not usually a comedy show type person but this is one I did not want to miss.
