I'm so excited for my daughter Kylee!  If you think you can't believe it when you watch your child graduate from high school, it's even more bewildering to watch them "walk" to get their degree from college.

I knew there would be a large number of graduates at the commencement ceremony, but wasn't expecting near 2,000.  Thank you to the staff of both UMD and Amsoil and all the photographers for their hard work and coordination to pull off two ceremonies in one day.  One in the morning for the students of Liberal Arts, Fine Arts, Human Service and Education.  Then, in the afternoon, the students of Business, Science and Engineering as well as, Economics took the stage, that's the one we attended.  Al Franken was the keynote speaker who didn't sugar coat life after college, but did throw in some humor during his speech.  The weather was beautiful for families and grads to take pictures with the iconic Aerial Lift Bridge in the background after the ceremony.  Congratulations to all the graduates and their families!  Watch Kylee "walk", shake Senator Al Franken's hand and get her degree below.
