I am hungry just thinking about this! We are lucky to have a ton of big chain restaurants in Minnesota and some great mom and pop ones as well.

When it comes to chain restaurants, everyone has an opinion and seemingly everyone has their few favorites they visit often.

For example, most of my favorite places to eat in Duluth are local but I do really like Red Lobster from time to time. The biscuits are everything.

With that said, a new study just revealed America's favorite fast casual dining chain for the year and it probably isn't the chain you're thinking of!

Restaurant Business released a new study, revealing our favorite fast casual dining chain and for the first time in nearly a decade, it's not Olive Garden! I also love Olive Garden. The breadsticks always sound good!

Analysts looked at sales for 2024 and found that Texas Roadhouse has now dethroned Olive Garden as our favorite fast casual dining chain. Olive Garden still remains in second place though.

We are lucky to have the top two choices right here in Duluth. There are also a ton of Texas Roadhouse locations across the state, along with Red Lobster locations as well.

Texas Roadhouse is famous for their starter rolls that come with cinnamon butter. They are delicious! They also have steak, chicken, salads and an overall fun atmosphere. Okay, now I am really hungry.
