NC Travel Guides put the list together after they compared 500 small towns. They looked at the following categories: search trends, popularity with photographers, and popularity of photography with the general public.

Last year we went to Texas to visit relatives, and Fredricksburg is home to the National Museum Of The Pacific War. That's because US Admiral Chester Nimitz was born there. Really? A famous Navy admiral was born in the middle of Texas?
