Small businesses that are interested in bidding on parts of the upcoming Twin Ports Interchange Project can take part in an upcoming virtual "meet and greet" session.  The Minnesota Department of Transportation's Office of Civil Rights is hosting the session for certified small businesses on Tuesday, July 21 - from 9:00 AM to 12 Noon.

The upcoming Twin Ports Interchange Project will be large in scope.  While there are many items on the punch-list, the I-35/I-535/TH 53 interchange will be reconstructed to relocate all exits to the right side of the roadway, eliminate merge conflicts, and improve mobility of weight restricted bridges to allow oversized freight on the interstate.  The scope of the project will include bridge removal and construction, grading and paving, storm sewer and sanitary sewer relocation, grubbing (clearing and pruning of trees), trucking, erosion control, and fencing.

During the virtual "meet and greet", MNDOT personnel and prime contractor Ames Kraemer Joint Venture will be on hand to provide information, answer questions, and give you the opportunity to get insight into the bidding process.

The virtual session will happen two ways:  via a webinar (click here) - using meeting number (access code) 146 748 5858; meeting password RGsHmWNQ487.  Additionally, there is an access/opportunity to participate via the telephone:  Call 1-855-282-6330.

At the same time, interested individuals and certified small business owners can register for individual networking sessions; just call Amy Sullivan at 651-366-3073.
