MN Man Lives Without Power During Ongoing Dispute With Power Company, Who’s Right? [POLL]

Elmore, MN resident Jeff Balcom is in a dispute with Alliant Power in Southern Minnesota and without power after a dispute with Alliant Energy.  He noticed the power pole in his yard was leaning, so he notified the power company.  Alliant energy told him he they would fix the pole, but charge him $747. Balcom didn't want to pay that amount of money, so he fixed it himself.  The power company then said the repairs weren't safe and they shut off his power.
