MN DNR To Hold Hearing Today For License Fee Proposal
Hunting and fishing licenses in Minnesota could be increasing. The DNR has proposed the increase because they are facing a budget shortage. It would be the first increase since 2001, and it's been the longest time in between license increases in 40 years.

I expect the increase will go through, since costs keep going up over the years, and they haven't been charging more. Sadly, it comes at a time where the economy hasn't fully recovered.
