Minnesotans Rescued After Being Stranded On Huge Unicorn Floatie
And they say unicorns aren't real.
A group of Minnesotans had to be rescued whilst on a giant unicorn floatie over the weekend after the mythical creature got stuck in some weeds.
The women were at a standstill on Fish Lake Saturday when two passing deputies doing a park check nearby spotted the obnoxious raft.
According to local media outlets, it was then they realized the ladies were in a bind.
One deputy threw a rope to the women and reeled them in while the other recorded a video, which has now gone viral.
It is pretty obvious these deputies LOVED every moment of this hilarious rescue and with good reason. It's not everyday you rescue a unicorn in the wild.
Since the harrowing rescue, they have been cracking jokes about it on social media, joking that the floatie is ready for another adventure and trying to get the attention of LIVE PD. (Whoever runs their Twitter account needs a raise, by the way!)
They did take the time in all the fun to post something on a more serious note, writing "As cops we deal with heavy stuff on a constant basis. Domestics. Drunks. Assaults. Suicides. Drug addiction. So once in a while when something like this comes along it's good to step back, enjoy it, smile, and recharge to get back into the heavy stuff again."
The story has since been covered nationwide, on every news outlet from USA Today to Good Morning America.
