Minnesota State Fair Announces 2019 Free Concert Lineups
The Minnesota State Fair is just a few months away and now we have even more reason to be excited!
As always, there will be 12 fun-filled days of free entertainment. This means you won't pay a dime, with the exception of gate admission.
The musical acts that you can catch free-of-charge were announced Wednesday morning (May 15). Highlights from the list include country acts Colt Ford, Brandon Lay and Mac McAnally.
'The Voice' finalist Kat Perkins will also perform during the event, on August 26th and 27th.
There are seven different stages where the performers will perform spread throughout the fairgrounds, including the North Woods Stage, the International Bazaar Stage and the Family Fair Stage.
Overall, there will be over 900 shows and more than 100 acts. To see a full schedule of who is performing a free show this year, click here.
Trace Adkins, Clint Black and Terri Clark are a few big names who you can pay to see at the Grandstand. Hootie And The Blowfish will also take the stage.
Logic, 'Weird Al' Yankovic and Lionel Richie are all also performing at the Grandstand this year. There really is something for everyone!
The Minnesota State Fair begins on August 22nd and continues through September 2nd.
Not that we need any reason to be convinced to go to the huge fair but it was just named the best in America.
It is also important to note that admission prices have increased slightly this year, up a buck from last. The new price is $15 dollars per ticket.
