Wisconsin City Among Most Educated In U.S.

Wisconsin is having a pretty good week! First, the Cheesehead State was named the third smartest state in the country.

Only Minnesota and North Dakota topped Wisconsin in the study, which was done by EssayShark. Wisconsin's high high school graduation rate helped put it near the top of the list.

Just when you think it couldn't get any better, Wisconsin was found atop yet another list. This list is for the most educated cities in the country.

WalletHub released this study over the summer and it's looking good for Wisconsin: one city there was named among the most educated.

WalletHub looked at a bunch of different factors to come up with this list. Analysts looked at things like how many people hold Bachelor's degrees, the average quality of universities in that city and more.

They also looked at the gender education gap. This, along with a handful of other factors, helped analysts craft this list - where Wisconsin landed in the top three!

One Wisconsin City Named One Of The Most Educated In 2025

Madison came in at number three on this list, which is a huge accomplishment! Madison has a high percentage of high school diploma holders, and a high number of college-experienced adults, according to this study.

Minneapolis came in the top twenty here, but otherwise Minnesota didn't do too well on this one. There's always new studies coming out so hopefully Wisconsin keeps thriving and Minnesota does as well!
