Lynyrd Skynyrd and Frankie Ballard Bring Sweet Home Alabama to Grand Casino Hinckley [VIDEO]
Frankie is actually Frank Robert Ballard the IV, which is the roman numeral for 4. He had aspirations to play ball and played college basketball for Western Michigan University. In 2008 he competed in Kenny Chesney's Next Big Star and won. He began opening for Kenny and three years later he joined the Grand Ole' Opry.
His latest single is "It All Started With a Beer"
Frankie will be opening for Lynyrd Skynyrd, a popular southern rock band in the 70's. Their most recognizable song is probably Sweet Home Alabama. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.
