For many of us, 9/11 is the biggest tragedy we have experienced in our lives.  15 years ago everything changed for us that lived through it.   One thing that was a bright spot after the attack was how everyone came together, united as a country.  We had pride in our country, we had a common goal to defeat terror.

Now look at us, 15 years later.  It seems as if we can't have a disagreement with another person without someone blowing it out of proportion on Facebook.  We've gone from talking about politics to screaming about them.

We used to fight terror, now we fight about how to fight terror.

15 years ago we praised police officers as heroes.  Now they're villains.

We were UNITED, now this country is DIVIDED.

How do we fix this?  I think it starts with talking with one another and not screaming at one another.   We need to acknowledge problems in our society and take responsibility on both sides of the issues.  Instead of pointing fingers at each other we should be offering a helping hand to each other.
