Lonestar to Release ‘Never Enders’ in April, Share Title Track [LISTEN]
With massive hits such as “No News” and “Amazed,” Lonestar quickly cemented their status as one of country music’s biggest acts in the 1990s, but the band has been quiet in recent years. In April, however, Lonestar will release their 10th studio album, Never Enders.
Set for release on April 29, Never Enders will feature 10 new Lonestar songs that “bring the trademark sound into the contemporary arena,” according to a release from Shanachie Entertainment, the band’s label. The project's title and title track are a tip of the hat to the group's longevity in country music, an optimistic manifesto of sorts for a band that's been playing more than 100 shows each year for the past two decades.
“We are crazy, wild dreamers / We are long-shot believers / We are make-a-promise keepers," the lyrics of "Never Enders" go. "We are, we are, we are / We are now, we are forever / We are in this thing together / We don’t give up or surrender / We are, we are, we are never enders.”

Lonestar have more than 10 No. 1 songs to their name and have sold more than 10 million albums, but the last decade or so has been full of ups and downs. After the band’s success began to wane in the mid-2000s, lead singer Richie McDonald left to pursue a solo career. He returned to Lonestar in 2011, and, two years later, they released Life As We Know It, which peaked at No. 33 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.
Never Enders is available for pre-order on Amazon.
