Local Business Offering Help To Furloughed Workers

As furloughed federal workers go into not having a second paycheck in a row, no matter what side you're on, some people need help or are going to.

I have been again on a log onto Facebook once a day kick again and the other evening I noticed a shared video that I thought was really nice.

Northstar Heating and Cooling posted a video offering a waiver on their service call fees for furloughed workers, that fee they say ranges from $79-$99 normally.  In addition they mentioned being able to work with people on payments or whatever is necessary for payment on repairs.

This comes at a really good time, especially with the cold temps that are creeping into the Northland this week.  It always seems like furnaces break or have issues when it is really cold.  Keep them in mind if you are in that situation and your furnace does have issues in this cold.  Check out their Facebook page and video by Northstar Jim, here.
