Voting officially ends on December 19th, so get your map and check out the homes and vote.

The homes are on a map that shows you all the homes that are decorated. My family makes this a tradition every year with cookies and hot chocolate in the car.

Bentleyville is a partner with A Sweet Event to promote the Lighting Challenge. Get out this weekend and vote for your favorites. Winners will receive special recognition at an award ceremony, gift basket and award.

According to The Christmas Lighting Challenge website, these are the rules and regulations:

  • Voting is broken down by city and allows everyone the chance to vote in two categories for each city.
  • Those categories are Best in-home and Best in business based off the number of votes
  • You can vote for your “Favorite City” this is to encourage friendly regional competition.
  • Lastly, you can vote for the masters. This category is for homes who have won the previous two years of competition.

This years 2019 featured cities include Duluth, Superior and Cloquet.
Additional cities included are Hermantown, Two Harbors and Proctor.
Awards will be given for best home and business in each featured city, best home overall and master.
