Dealership Breaks Ground On New Location In Hermantown
If you're driving around in Hermantown, you might notice a bit of a change to the area! Kolar Hyundai just broke ground on a brand new location.
The groundbreaking happened on Friday (November 8th). The new location can be found at 5014 Miller Trunk Highway in Hermantown.
If you missed the big groundbreaking, you're in luck! The whole thing was live-streamed on social media for those that couldn't be there in person.
Owners Jack and Joe Kolar were on hand at the celebration, along with Kim Parmeter, the President and CEO of the Hermantown Area Chamber of Commerce.

Other guests included Matt Baumgartner, President and CEO of the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce and Tom Bice, a Regional Sales Representative for Hyundai.
The ceremony was a way to symbolize their dedication to growing and serving their customers, which they will be able to do with more room in this new space. They've also owned the property for awhile.

A representative for Kolar also said that the owners and staff are excited to invest in the community and look forward to providing 'enhanced service' to the area. As for an opening date, as of now, that is tentatively set for September of 2025!
