Here is something we haven't said for awhile: there is a concert coming to Minnesota! It sure has been awhile.

Kane Brown announced a new tour on Thursday (April 8th) and it includes a stop in Minneapolis. The country star will be playing a show at the Target Center on Friday, January 21st. Chase Rice is the opening act, along with newcomers Restless Road.

The tour is called the Blessed & Free Tour and includes thirty-five stops across the country. He announced the big news via his instagram page.

The tour will kick off in October and will continue into February of 2022. Other tour stops include Milwaukee, Chicago and Las Vegas. The first part of the tour will include Jordan Davis as an opener, with Chase Rice stepping in instead during the second leg.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 16th. You can sign up for presale tickets on Kane's tour web page here. According to the Target Center, ticket prices range from $44.50 to $94.50. The show will start at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

This is amazing news, considering we haven't had a concert announcement like this for quite some time! Kane was set to be on tour over the course of the past year but obviously had to put those plans aside due to COVID-19. In September, he headlined a drive-in show, which played on hundreds of screens nationwide. Still, there is nothing like live music!

Hopefully more shows and tours are announced as we see a light at the end of the tunnel with the pandemic. To keep up with all shows coming to the Northland and beyond, postponed and rescheduled as well, check out our concert calendar here.
