Josh Turner Brings His Voice To Albert Lea This August

The man with one of the most distinct voices in country music is coming to Minnesota later this year! Josh Turner just added a ton of dates to his 2026 tour for later this year.

The country star is about to embark on his 'This Country Music Thing' Tour which will kick off officially in just a few weeks. There are a bunch of different openers depending on which show you are seeing.

This tour does include a stop in our neck of the woods. He played at DECC Symphony Hall in January of last year. He packed the house and again, has one of the most distinct voices in the entire genre.

It was a great show and if you've been missing him, you now have a chance to see him and in much warmer weather, no less.

He will be playing in Albert Lea on August 8th. Albert Lea is just under a four drive from the Duluth area but it is totally worth the road trip. This show is part of the lineup for the Freeborn County Fair.

The show will kick off at 8:30 p.m. You can grab some tasty treats at the fair before the show. As of right now, there is no opening act for the show. Save the date! Summer goes by so fast around here.
