Jordy Nelson held out last week when he didn't sign a one day contract with the Green Bay Packers, that hold out is over.

Jordy will sign a one day contract and retire with the Green Bay Packers. Last week, when Nelson didn't sign with his former team, people, including me, started to speculate that maybe he talked to the team and Aaron Rodgers about coming back and playing one more year. That speculation ended when Nelson announced today he will sign the contract tomorrow.

Was this a publicity stunt? Some people were licking their chops thinking this might rekindle the Touchdown production he had with Rodgers. Maybe not a publicity stunt as much as a way to call attention to everything Nelson has done for the team. Nelson played in Green Bay from 2008-2017, winning a Super Bowl, but last season was with the Oakland Raiders.

Jordy Nelson will sign the one day contract and declare that he is retiring. How wonder how much the contracts is worth, if anything?
