Wisconsin has many fun things to do and places to go all year round. Of course, in the summer months, the calendar kicks in. Towns like Lake Geneva attract visitors from across the country. Their festivals are a lot of fun. Let's just say, the state knows how to have a good time and throw a party.

I believe for a festival to be successful, it needs three things. Number one is good entertainment. Live music is my favorite. Second, the fest needs delicious food. That can take the event to a new level. Finally, plenty of tasty beverages to wash it all down.

Wisconsin's Bacon Fest which is held each year in Lake Geneva checks all of those boxes. Let's start with the food. The name speaks for itself and most people love bacon. Next, there are plenty of adult beverages that pair well with the pork product. Lastly, they've got a great line-up of live music.

This year Wisconsin Bacon Fest is being held at Flat Iron Park in Lake Geneva. The dates are May 31st through June 2nd. Tickets are on sale and a limited number of VIP passes are available. Besides all the different offerings of bacon, there will also be other vendors on hand.

The main stage will feature lots of live music including tributes to Pink Floyd Elton John, Billy Joel, John Mellencamp, Yacht Rock, and much more. The fest is three days of bacon, so how could you go wrong?
