The study was done by a company called Level Frames. They based their search on reviews from Tripadvisor and how reviewers described the hotels. Some words that they looked for were 'elegant', 'upscale', 'luxurious', 'stylish', and 'refined', just to name a few.

They named Minnesota as having the second most beautiful hotels in the US based on their study. We only fell behind Virginia, who claimed first place.
