Will Minnesota's Fall Colors Be Brighter this Year?
It seems we've been getting quite a bit of rain this summer (especially this past weekend). Does that mean anything for fall colors?
If there's a good amount of rainfall, there's a good chance that we'll get to see some pretty vibrant colors this fall, according to the National Parks Service.

Also, if the temperatures are cool enough in the fall, that can cause some of the colors, like red, to be brighter.
When we get to see those colors in another question, though.
When Fall Colors Will Peak Across Minnesota
The Minnesota DNR has their interactive Fall Color Finder map out to show us when fall colors will be at their peak this year.
They're predicting that the colors will start to change in mostly the northwest corner of the state around September 11th.
That slowly starts to spread out around northern and central Minnesota, and around September 16th, we're looking at about 10-25% to peak in a good chunk of the state.
Skipping ahead, the first chunk of the state to hit peak is, you guessed it, the northwest corner, and they're predicted to hit peak fall colors around September 28th.
That amount of the state at peak fall colors really starts to expand, and by around October 6th, the DNR is predicting that most of northern Minnesota will be at peak.
Around October 12th, peak colors will hit in central Minnesota.
October 18th, most of the state will be at peak fall colors or past peak.
And finally, the Cities and Rochester will hit peak fall colors around October 21st.
