Talk about disgusting!  I was moving cars around this morning in our driveway while I was finishing some shoveling and was grossed out by our cars sitting in the garage.  They were covered in dirt!  What the heck happened?!  They were outside all day while it rained in Minnesota on Monday, March 25th, and now they are covered in dirt!

Did You Notice Dirt and Mud Drops On Your Cars in Minnesota and Iowa?

I feel like I need to write "Wash Me" with my finger on my windows right now.  My cars look so gross.  On my white SUV there are drops of dirt as big as a quarter on the hood of my car!

I've always heard that black cars show more dirt and it is pretty obvious that the statement is true because my black SUV looks like someone threw a bucket of mud all over it.

Sounds like I wasn't the only one seeing spots this morning.  Dirty cars were reported by others in Iowa and parts of Minnesota, including in Des Moines, Albert Lea, Owatonna, Austin, and Rochester.

Why Are All Of Our Cars in Minnesota and Iowa Covered in Dirt After Storm?

I wasn't looking for an answer but thanks to Facebook and a friend connection with Chris Kuball Meteorologist, I found out why we are all dealing with disgusting cars today.

Notice this out the door this morning? Last nights rain had some dust tied up in it from all the way down in Texas! - Chris Kubal Meteorologist Facebook Page

In his Facebook post, he mentioned in the comments that "Dust is entrapped in or clings onto the raindrop/snowflake".

Tommy's Express Car Wash, I know you had free car washes last weekend.  Now would be a really good time to do that again?  #JustSayin
