Update: He has been found safe

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities are asking for the public’s help with locating a missing Rochester man.

The Rochester Police Department issued the request for public assistance Thursday afternoon. 

Authorities report the Rochester man was last seen on August 20. Details of where he was last seen are not available.

49-Year-Old Rochester Man Reported Missing, Could be in the Fargo, ND Area, Police Say

Police have identified the missing man as 49-year-old Jesse Ross. He is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 165 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. 

Ross is believed to be in or around the Fargo, ND area. He is known to use public transportation, mainly buses, police say. 

A bulletin issued by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says Ross is known to wear blue Adidas sneakers, a beanie and a watch.
