in just a few days, quite a few glasses of beer and a pretty big river in Illinois are turning green for St. Patrick's Day.

I know a few people who are heading to Chicago for St. Patrick's Day. Watching that river turn green is one of the items on my bucket list but unfortunately, this is not the year when I will be crossing that off.
Chicago has figured out how to do the whole "green water" thing. Just because they did does NOT mean that Minnesota and Wisconsin should start attempting to turn the Mississippi River green...although that would be quite the image!

I know how sometimes that "creative" and "crafty" gene kicks in and you feel like you can change the world with a bottle of dye. I've had that feeling. Many moons ago, I ran a daycare out of my house and I thought it would be awesome to have a day where everything was green. That right there was a mistake. BIG mistake.
