Paraglider Airlifted After Crashing in Le Sueur County Field

LeSueur, MN (MinnesotaNow)- A paraglider was flown to the Twin Cities after crashing in rural southern Minnesota over the weekend.

That’s according to a news release issued by the Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to the crash around 7:30 Saturday evening.

Paraglider Crashes into Bean Field in Le Sueur County

The paraglider went down in a bean field in Sharon Township, which is southeast of Le Sueur.

Responding deputies found the pilot, who was the lone occupant of the paraglider, at the crash scene.

Authorities identified the pilot as 41-year-old Nicholas Kent Loose of Le Sueur.

He was flown to Hennepin County Medical Center with what the news release describes as serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

The permission slips are gone, but the memories are apparently still very much alive.
